CTV Trade Vault ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled when you use our trading journal application.

1. Zero-Knowledge Architecture

CTV Trade Vault is built as a "local-first" application. This means that we do not own, operate, or maintain any central databases. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal information, trading data, strategies, or journal entries. All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your own device.

2. Google Drive Integration & User Data

The App offers an optional cloud backup feature powered by Google Drive. If you choose to enable this feature:

• Authentication: The App uses Google's secure OAuth 2.0 protocol for authentication. We never see or store your Google password.
• Data Access: The App requests access only to a specific, hidden "App Data" folder within your personal Google Drive (using the drive.appdata scope). The App cannot see, read, or modify any of your other personal files or photos in Google Drive.
• Data Storage: When you back up your data, your trading information is transferred directly from your local browser to your personal Google Drive. This data never passes through or is saved on our servers.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your data is stored locally on your device and/or in your personal Google Drive, you have complete control over it. You can delete your data at any time by:

• Clearing your browser's local storage/cache.
• Revoking CTV Trade Vault's access to your Google account via your Google Account Security settings, which will delete the hidden backup file.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties, simply because we do not possess your data.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
