Welcome to CTV Trade Vault ("we," "our," or "the App"). By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

CTV Trade Vault is a local-first trading journal application designed to help users track and analyze their personal trading activity. The App operates entirely within your web browser, storing data locally on your device or optionally backing it up to your personal Google Drive.

2. No Financial Advice

The information, tools, and features provided by CTV Trade Vault are for educational and informational purposes only. We do not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. Your trading decisions and any resulting financial gains or losses are entirely your own responsibility. Always conduct your own research and consult with a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

3. Data Ownership and Responsibility

Because CTV Trade Vault utilizes a zero-knowledge architecture:

• You retain full ownership and control of your trading data.
• We have no access to, nor do we store, your data on our servers.
• You are solely responsible for managing your data. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from cleared browser caches, lost devices, or accidental deletion of backup files in your Google Drive.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the App.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CTV Trade Vault and its developer(s) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App, including but not limited to financial losses, data loss, or business interruption.

7. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
